GhostSubsPlayStation Plus "cancellation" is really turning off auto-renewal: your remaining time keeps working until the end date, and then simply doesn't renew. Monthly games you claimed become unplayable when Plus lapses — but they return if you ever resubscribe.

Turn off PS Plus auto-renewal
- In a browser. Sign in at playstation.com → your avatar → Account Settings → Subscriptions (under Payments & Subscriptions) → PlayStation Plus → "Turn Off Auto-Renew" / "Cancel Subscription".
- On PS5. Settings → Users and Accounts → Account → Payment and Subscriptions → Subscriptions → PlayStation Plus → Turn Off Auto-Renew.
- On PS4. Settings → Account Management → Account Information → PlayStation Subscriptions → PlayStation Plus → Turn Off Auto-Renew.
- Confirm the end date. The subscription page shows exactly when your access ends — no further charges after that.
What happens to your games
Monthly games claimed through Plus are licenses tied to an active membership — they lock when it lapses and unlock if you rejoin, so claim games even in months you're planning to leave. Purchased games and your save data on the console are unaffected; cloud saves require Plus, so download important saves locally before it expires.
